Service Memo

Unexpected shut down

We have identified rare cases of the Series 1 range of display units failing very short time after power on (less than 5h).

If the unit is operating as normal after 5 hours, then there is no indication that the unit will fail at a later stage of its lifetime (normal failure rates should be expected).

Symptoms are:
- The unit shuts down and stays in "off" status (all LED's turns red).
- The unit does not respond to any keypad buttons and can not be turned on.
- The incident can happen after some minutes or hours after power on.

SOLUTION:
Contact our service department to receive an RMA number. The unit needs to be returned to our factory for upgrade.
