NEW RULES FOR DATA PROTECTION
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
In association with the new rules that come in to force in the EU and EEA on Data protection, we would like to inform you about the implementation of these new rules at Hatteland Display and EMBRON Group and what affects this can have for our business relation.
In Norway, the new rules are called "Personvernforordningen" also referred to as "GDPR", which is the term that we will continue using throughout this letter. The rules come in to force on May 25 this year.
We handle the protection of customer data and follow up on privacy law with high priority. We received questions about how Hatteland Display addresses the GDPR, and therefore, we hope by writing this orientation letter it will clarify these questions.
In accordance with the new rules, we will, in a certain context, be seen as the data processors. Among other things, this applies when we process personal information about contacts, or others that we need to communicate with directly. This will only be relevant when personal information is necessary for us to fulfil our obligations.
For all the processing of personal information in Hatteland Display and EMBRON Group, we will:
 Implement satisfactory technical and organizational measures to protect personal information and
make sure our subcontractors do the same.
Have necessary guidelines for how long we keep personal information, to ensure they are not
stored longer than necessary.

Company Name
Contact person
Company Address / Billing Address
Phone number and e-mail address
Information about the use of our website, such as visits, browser settings and IP address
Example of why we collect this information:
Order confirmation
Support
Delivery confirmation
Customer survey
We do not collect information such as birthdates and social security numbers.
As a data processor, we will:
Only process personal information according to the instructions we receive from our customers
and Under law:
Notify those of our customers who will be affected by a possible security breach concerning
Personal Data Security.
You are, as us, subject to data protection laws by processing personal information. We must ask that:
You do not send us personal information that we do not need to fulfil our obligations (it will be
illegal of you to do so and it will be illegal for us to process them).
We ask you therefore:
To ensure that the registered person gave the necessary consent to share personal information.
This applies for both, data that has been send and the purpose of the submission / processing
(according to The Personal Data Act).
We would like to express that you are acting as a data processor in the same way as we do, when it comes to personal information about your customer contacts and other persons you are in contact with at Hatteland Display or the EMBRON Group.
Should there be any questions regarding the above, we ask you to contact the undersigned; our GDPR team answers any inquiries as soon as possible.

NYE REGLER OM PERSONVERN
Personvernforordningen - GDPR
I forbindelse med de nye reglene som trer i kraft i EU og EØS om personvern, vil vi gjerne få orientere om hvordan vi i Hatteland Display AS og EMBRON Gruppen forholder oss til disse og hvilke følger dette vil få for vårt forretningsforhold.
I Norge er de nye reglene kalt "Personvernforordningen" og etter hvert også kalt "GDPR", som er den betegnelsen som vi vil benytte videre her. Reglene trer i kraft 25.mai i år.
Vi har beskyttelse av kundedata og følger opp personvernlovgivningen med høy prioritet. Vi mottar i disse dager henvendelser om hvordan vi forholder oss til GDPR, og vi har derfor laget denne orienteringen som vi håper vil klargjøre dette.
I følge de nye reglene vil vi i visse sammenhenger være behandlingsansvarlige. Dette gjelder bl. a. når vi registrerer personopplysninger om kontaktpersoner, eller andre som vi ved behov kommuniserer direkte med. Dette vil bare være aktuelt hvor personopplysningene er nødvendige for at vi skal kunne utføre våre forpliktelser.
For all behandling av personopplysninger i Hatteland Display AS og EMBRON Gruppen vil vi:
Implementere tilfredsstillende tekniske og organisatoriske tiltak for å sikre og beskytte
personopplysninger og forsikre oss om at våre underleverandører gjør det samme.
Ha nødvendige retningslinjer for hvor lenge vi oppbevarer personopplysninger slik at disse
ikke oppbevares lenger enn nødvendig.

Firmanavn
Kontaktperson
Firmaadresse/fakturaadresse
Telefonnummer og e-postadresse
Informasjon om bruk av nettsiden, i form av undersider som besøkes, nettleserinnstillinger og
IP-adresse.

Kundeundersøkelse
Vi samler ikke inn opplysninger som fødselsdato- og personnummer.
Når vi er databehandlere vil vi:
bare behandle personopplysninger i henhold til de instruksjoner vi mottar fra våre kunder eller i
henhold til lov.
gi beskjed til de av våre kunder som vil være berørt av et eventuelt sikkerhetsbrudd på
personopplysningssikkerheten.
Da dere også er underlagt personvernlovgivningen og vi ved å motta personopplysninger blir å anse som behandlingsansvarlige, må vi be om at:
dere ikke sender oss personopplysninger som vi ikke trenger for å utføre vårt oppdrag (det vil
være ulovlig av dere å sende disse til oss og det vil være ulovlig for oss å behandle dem).
Vi ber derfor om at:
dere sørger for at det foreligger nødvendig samtykke fra de registrerte personene det sendes
personopplysninger om. Dette gjelder både med hensyn til hvor dataene sendes og formålet med
oversendelsen/behandlingen (i henhold til personopplysningslovgivningen).
Vi gjør oppmerksom på at dere vil være behandlingsansvarlige på samme måte som oss for personopplysninger om deres kundekontakter og andre personer dere er i kontakt med hos oss.
Skulle det være spørsmål vedrørende det ovenstående ber vi om at dere tar kontakt med undertegnede, så vil henvendelser bli besvart av vårt GDPR team så raskt som mulig.
